Good morning all… or afternoon, evening whatever the case may be.
I’d like to introduce myself. I am Sharon Peterson owner and writer at SimplyCanning.com. I have a family with 4 sons who work hard and do our best to live simply in our little home in Colorado.

I’ve been canning for many years. We garden and produce quite a bit of our food. Canning meat, veggies, jam, jelly, fruits… and more. I won’t go so far as to say I never shop for food at the grocery store… but much of our food is self raised and preserved.
I am excited to be asked to post here at Tattlers blog. Want to know why? Two Reasons:
• I am truly sold on the product. Tattler lids are one of the best things to happen to canning. I was introduced to Tattlers several years ago and have now completely phased out metal lids.
• The Stieg Family are really cool people! I met the Stiegs at a self reliance expo last year and was impressed at the dedication they have for their product and customer service.
When Brad asked if I’d be interested in blogging for him I said sure! Our plans for this blog are to create a place where you can get information regarding canning with Tattler lids. If you have questions or comments about tattler canning lids I’d love to hear from you.
Please leave a comment here.
Let me know what you’d like to know! I’m here to find out.

I was wondering if the tattler lids would keep out the junk in the air like the metal lids would? I do like them and the fact you can reuse is a plus. Just wondering you know how plastic is.
Great Question Rhonda, I’m going to answer you in a whole new post.
